What is Menstrual Cycle Therapy?
Menstrual Cycle Therapy is a holistic, biopsychosocial approach that tackles complaints surrounding the menstrual cycle.
The starting point of the therapy is to restore the self healing ability of the body (instead of relying on the use of hormonal birth control, synthetic hormone therapy or painkillers). Hormonal symptoms are often a sign of a bigger imbalance. That is why a menstrual cycle therapist will always aim to find the root causes of your symptoms.
By making adjustments to diet, managing stress, practicing nervous system reset techniques, optimising movement and exercise, improving sleep hygiene, and using natural supplements, many health complaints can be significantly improved, if not fully resolved.
That being said, not all conditions can be “cured”. But the level at which you suffer from the symptoms can drastically diminish when making the necessary lifestyle changes.
